Marcia Lynn Hardy was born on February 26, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio, to Shirley and Morris Pollard. She was the second eldest child.
Marcia was a collector of all things, to include shoes, purses, and elephants.
Marcia was saved at Zion Hill Baptist Church at a young age. She was a committed member of the Greater Bethlehem Temple Church under the leadership of Suffragan Bishop David E. Norman. She was a member of the Ministerial Staff, Choir, Hospitality Committee, and the Missions team. When she was asked, she would willingly lead the Monday night prayer. Evangelist Marcia Hardy-Glass, Affectionately called “Glass”, will miss her well-timed “see” during the preached word.
She was preceded in death by parents, Shirley and Morris Pollard; son, Melvyn Hardy; brother, Kevin Pollard; sisters, Konni Fleming and Lori Davis; and grandmother, Alberta Hardy-Smith.
She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Norman Glass, Sr.; children, Misty (Steve) Williamson, Marcus Hardy, and Melva Hardy, all of Columbus, OH, Normon Glass, Jr., of Dickson, TN, DeOntee M. Knight, and Malika Robinson; siblings, Caryl Hardy-Johnson of CA, Vicki Hardy, Steve Pollard, and Ronald Pollard, all of Columbus, OH; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, and best friends, and Diane Ward and Pauletta McGee.
