Mark Price

Mark Anthony Price was born December 22, 1971, to the late Lucille Dillard. He was called home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Thursday, September 17, 2020. Mark was best known for being the most chilled and laid- back person you could ever meet. He was quiet, but to those who knew him, he had a very good sense of humor. He loved to spend time with his grandson and granddaughter, and he would call them Paw Paw and Maw Maw. His face lit up everytime they would come. He also loved to fish, play dominos and listen to his Son, Marsalis, sing and play his organ. Most important, he loved to spend time with his family. Mark was a member at New Season Christian Ministries, where he enjoyed listening to the word. He rededicated his life to the Lord on Sunday, December 22, 2019, on his 48th birthday. His favorite song was “Something About the Name, Jesus”.

Mark is preceded in death by his Son, Tyrese Price; Mother, Lucille Dillard; Brother, Richard Price; Grandmother, Berty Price; Grandfather, Theodore Price; Uncle, Jeffrey Price; Aunts, Linda McCamey and Alice Ford; and Cousins, Edward Hampton, Jr., Kinte’ Price, Jermaine Jones, Dawann Jones, Sr., Deshawn Jones, Sr., and Katrina Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories: the love of his life, Kewanna Zanders-Price; Sons, Marsalis Price and Trevon (Suhanna) Peck, Sr.; Daughter, Jamasia Vickers; his Grandchildren, Trevon Peck, Jr., and Charisse Peck; Sisters, Robin and Artgentle Price; Sisters-in-law, Alicia (Price) Smith and Jeanette Harrell; Brother-in-law, Eric Zanders; Special Friends, Jerry and Montie Johnson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
