Michelle Denise (Dimples) Cotton, age 46, was called home on Friday, December 25, 2020 at her home. Michelle was born on July 21, 1974, in Columbus, Ohio to Latonia Manns and James M. White She grew up in Columbus, Ohio where she graduated from Whetstone High School Class of 1992. While attending Whetstone High School, she played basketball while maintaining various fast food positions up until starting her career with Priority Home Health Care as Medical Scheduler and Office Manager until furthering her career at Hawthorne Suites as Manager.
Michelle was a devoted loving mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother who loved being surrounded by friends and family. As a member of Rock of Faith Baptist Church she served where and whenever needed. She had a heart of gold and an outgoing personality. Michelle was the neighborhood mom and offered her home and heart to anyone in need. For her love of motorcycles she joined well-known motorcycle clubs “Soft Peddles” as an enforcer which led to her being a National Secretary in “Midtown Iron” where she was loved and considered family.
Michelle was proceeded in death by her father, James M. White; grandmother, F. Louise Cotton; aunt and uncle, David and Ruth Casby, and cousin, Katie Ross.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Latonia Manns; her children, Briana, Brittany, Brandi and Nathan; sisters, Tamara Mason, Latoia Cotton and Lamonta Clark; brother, Michael White; nephews, Markus Cotton, and Antwan Cotton; God-daughter, La’Mya Burney; grandchildren, Donovan, Anthony, Abrien, Kaden, Aubrey; and a host of great-nieces and nephews, bestfriend, Maria “Keep it Simple” Taylor extended family members and a host dear friends.
