Monroe Brown, a loving soul who touched the hearts of many, passed away too soon. Known by Terry or Terrill, he always had a quiet demeanor. He grew up in church and did believe in God. In his youth, he could be found playing basketball and video games with his family.
He enjoyed simple pleasures like going to the movies and out to eat. His fondness for Little Debbie’s snack cakes was well-known to those close to him. But Everyone knew about his love for cars and that he kept a BANGIN sound system!!!
He was A devoted protector, he always stood up for others. If you called him, he was coming! No matter if you called him because you were in trouble or to come and get a plate of food.
Terry could be described as a true hustler. Self reliant and strong willed. If He wanted or needed something, his ambition would drive him to get it against all odds. He transferred that hustler spirit into entrepreneurship and started 2 businesses, “The Bros Custom Design” and “Keep It Right Lawn-care and Trees”. He also authored a book, “Who died and made you boss?”, which he waa working to release in 2025. It was his intention to use these businesses as a stepping stone to take care of his family and build a better future for himself.
Monroe is proceeded in death by, his maternal grandparents, Monroe and Roberta Brown Perkins, Paternal grandparents June Ella Teague and Charles Bondurant Sr, and his mother Vera Brown.
He was, is, and will always be a father, a son, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, a nephew, and a friend. There are many that love him and are left to cherish his memories, too many to list them all but as we each pray one for another, we ask for special prayers for his father, Charles Bondurant Jr, his daughters Tanasia Carter and Tiffany Jacobs, granddaughter Malani Kassa, and special friend Shirley Ferguson.
Terry leaves a legacy of loyalty and love. May his memory live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
