Nikita Devonne Toler, born March 10, 1984, in Columbus, Ohio. She went home to be with her Heavenly Father on December 1, 2022, at the young age of thirty-eight.
As many of you may know, she was seven months pregnant with another prince, Baby Jodeci Forever Brown. Having another baby with the man she loved was something she was extremely
happy about. Unfortunately, Baby Joe went home with his mother and Heavenly Father.
Kita “Vonn” received her high school diploma, and she also received a trade certificate for construction and work readiness from Impact Community Development.
Ohio will not be the same without her bright smile, loud voice, and burst of energy when she would walk into any room. Kita “Vonn” loved her son, Baby Shannon “Stink,” so much. The
love she had for her friends and family were inseparable. When she argued with you, because we’re sure she argued with a few, you still knew she loved you and would do anything for you. Out of all her siblings, she didn’t argue with her baby sister, Savannah. There’s nothing we wouldn’t do right now to hear her laugh, dancing or yelling.
Kita “Vonn,” or we should say “Ms. Jordan,” made sure she brought every pair of Jordans. She was always ready to dress to impress from her clothes, hair, nails, and shoes. She made sure wherever she went she made a lasting impression on everyone.
Kita “Vonn” and Baby Jodeci leave cherished memories with: her loving fiancé and her everything, Earl Brown; stepsons, Sir’Earl Brown, Cashmere Brown, Ci’lence Brown, and E’iote Brown; step-daughters, E’naiah Brown, Mari’onnia Brown, and Teanna Brown; her mother, Annette Toler; father, Tayrone Hawkins; godmom, Toni Watson; sisters, Chic Toler-Cray, Danielle Helms, and Savannah Helms; her son, Shannon “Stink” Toler; nephew, Shaiquan Toler; nieces, Rashaya Cray, Ta’nya Boozer, and Rihanna Lindsey; great-niece, Cereza Toler;
and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Maggie Toler; grandfather, David Sidney; her brother, Shannon Toler; great-grandmother, Rosemary Brownlow; and her nephew, Jaeven Lindsey.
