Osjahnique Eugia Nicole Giles was born on March 4, 2000 at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio to Stephanie Giles and Eugene Summerville. Osjahnique was educated in Columbus City Schools and graduated from Linden-McKinley High School in 2018. Upon graduation she aspired to go to college and become a nurse.
Osjahnique enjoyed dancing, cheering and telling jokes. She had an incredible sense of humor and a vibrant personality. She enjoyed spending time with her siblings and making Tik Tok videos with her younger cousins which she passed on to her daughter. She was an awesome mother to her daughter, My’Layah. She always tried to provide the best for her daughter. Oshjahnique was called home at Mt. Carmel East Hospital unexpectantly on Monday, December 14, 2020. She will forever be missed and adored by those who loved her.
She is preceded in death by grandfathers, Lawrence Day and Raleigh Eugene Harlin; grandmother, Lanetta Summerville; great grandmothers, Mary Jane and Lily Robinson Patton and great grandfather, John Winton.
She leaves to cherish her memories and carry on her legacy, her daughter, My’Layah Adore Nicole Gordon; mother, Stephanie Giles; father, Eugene Summerville; grandmother, Bobbie Winton; grandfather, Pete Kleckley; sisters, Onyae, Emarie, Enegue, Andrea Summerville and Imani McGee; God-sister, Ricquel Marshall; favorite cousins (raised like siblings), Myshnique Giles and Marquael Parks; special friend, Marcus Gordon; uncles, Michael Day Price; Edwin Summerville, Shawn Giles; two nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins many other relatives and numerous beloved friends.
