A TIME TO LIVE Third attended Columbus Afrocentric from Kindergarten through eight grade, Third’s parents decided to relocate to Atlanta, Georgia to a warmer climate. Once in Georgia Third attended Cass High School where he tried out for the basketball team and made the travel AAU team. But before we knew it his father “Ottis Sr.” took ill so Third was unable to attend practices. He was a quiet young man who loved family more than anything in this world. His grandmother (Debra) especially he would call her anytime he got in trouble at home and off to grandma’s house he would go. Third adored his father, they would stay up late at night watching movies, cracking jokes and they would talk about any and everything. Their bond was unbreakable. Until life changed and his father passed away February 2, 2023 and from that point on Third was never the same.
