Patricia Jameson Obituary

Patricia Ann Tate-Jameson was born in Columbus, Ohio, to her loving parents, William Henry and Mary Elizabeth Tate, who have preceded her in death, on June 6, 1946. She entered eternal life with the Lord on December 6, 2024. She was the eldest of four siblings, Larry, Denise, Vicki, and Tanya. Her sister, Tanya, has preceded her in death. She was the mother of Kem, Kevin, Tameia, and Keith. Her youngest child, Keith, preceded her in death. She was blessed with an abundance of grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she loved dearly. Her grandchildren affectionately called her “Grandma Pat,” and once she was a great-grandma she became known as “GiGi.” She had a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins too numerous to count.

She graduated from East High School and went on to complete many certificates at Columbus State Community College that were beneficial in her employment at Timken Roller Bearing Company, Ohio Bell, the State of Ohio as a mental health technician, and a Tupperware sales associate, some of her most memorable jobs. It was ironic that one of her first jobs was a telephone operator because she became known within the family as the “PHONE MASTER.” If she called you, you may find yourself on the phone for hours without even realizing it. Many have benefited from Pat being there to take care of your children and even your children’s children at a moment’s notice.

She was ridiculously creative! A master seamstress who created Halloween costumes for her children; they won best costumes for their grades in elementary school. She also drew the most beautiful artwork that could be found on everything from paper to lunch boxes. She crocheted and knitted hats, scarves, armchair covers, and blankets to name a few. If Pat knew a new baby was being born, nine times out of ten, the new bundle of joy received a blanket.  She had a beautiful handwriting and she extended that by doing calligraphy. Before people stopped mailing party invitations, Pat would address the envelopes with admirable calligraphy. Many were touched by her creative side as her love.  She found her peace in God during her time at different ministries.
The place where she was a member, prior to her death was Royal Kingdom Ministries.

She touched many in different ways and will be missed immensely.
