Patronia Kay"Tootsie" Fowler was born January 4, 1947 to the late Clarence and Elnora Fowler in Hamilton, Ohio. She departed this life at the age of 73 on Thursday, September 17, 2020. The family moved to Columbus when she was a young child and grew up on the north end of Columbus. She attended Columbus North High School. She received her GED in 1966. Patronia graduated from Columbus Technical Institute in 1978 receiving a Nursing degree. She served as a Registered Nurse for over 25 years and completed her career at Isabel Ridgeway.
Patronia accepted Christ into her life at a early age and was baptized at Triedstone Baptist Church. She was a outstanding Mentor and Example to the entire family. She had the patience, time, spirit and, knowledge to lead all family members and friends. Patronia’s biggest attributes/traits were God and faith, family first, Character, Integrity, Humility, Strength and toughness, hard work and never worry about what people say or think about you. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, drawing and sewing.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Deacon Clarence and Elnora Fowler, five brothers, Clarence Fowler, Wallace Fowler, Wilbur Fowler, William Fowler and Jimmy Lee Fowler (Janet’s twin) and three sisters, Venus Jordan, Lilia Grinston and Janet Oden.
She is survived by her sons, Leo Devlin "Arty" III, Eric Devlin; daughters, America Kimberly Devlin and Patricia Devlin (Tisha); grandchildren, Amber Slivinski, Emily Johnson, Leo Devlin IV, Andrew Devlin (Drew), Curtis Davis, Essence Devlin; brother Rev. Dr. Shedrick (Rosie) Fowler, and sister Wilma Fowler; friends Imo Corbet and Frances Randolph-Parks; host of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
