Paulette Smith was born on November 6, 1970, in Columbus, Ohio. Paulette graduated high school from Brookhaven (The Haven), followed by Columbus State Community College with a degree in business administration.
Paulette devoted all her time serving in our community, working side by side with a lot of non-profit organizations such as Camaco, Urban League, Impact, Toys for Tots, etc. Paulette loved to dance, laugh, joke, and travel. More importantly, she loved giving back to the less fortunate in our community. She always found a way to help in any way she could, she never took no for an answer.
She impacted a lot of her friends and family. She will be truly missed but never forgotten. In honor of her, we will celebrate and uplift each other as we lay her to rest. Her journey has been completed, we are all here to not say goodbye but see you later.
She leaves to cherish: Mary A. Smith, The courageous woman of three, David L. Turner, Jr. (Camila Turner), TraQuan D. Smith, and George L. Smith.; grandchildren, David Turner III, Damari Turner, Romeo L. Smith, Khameire R. Smith; a host of god children; best friend, Shareda Evans; and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, son, brother, special aunt, uncles, cousins, and good friends.
