Mom (much loved), Momma (affectionately known by her grandchildren), sister, aunt, teacher, friend, and mentor are just a few of the words to describe Priscilla Daniels. Priscilla passed away on October 31, 2021, at the age of 77, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to carry on her legacy throughout their lives. Her unwavering faith in God gave her a peace that surpassed all understanding as she was going through her treatments. She never complained and constantly reassured her family that she was fine as they checked in daily, visited, and cared for her.

Priscilla was born, raised, and educated in Savannah, Georgia, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Savannah State. She was happily married to her only true love SGM David Daniels until his death in 1991. This union was blessed with two children, Carla and David, which led to the births of her eight grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. She made each grandchild feel special by sewing anything they needed for school or any other type of event, mailed her special cream cheese cookies for the holidays, never forgot a birthday, attended school programs, graduations, baby blessings, and made Christmas — her favorite holiday — extra special by decorating her beautiful tree and displaying her elaborate Christmas
village, which she added to year after year.

Priscilla was a charter member of the Central Seventh-day Adventist church and held membership there until her death. Over the years, she served in many capacities, but her favorite, by far, was being a Sabbath School Teacher, where she had the opportunity to teach many children about the love of God. Priscilla spent years giving back and being there for those she loved. She was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, a master seamstress who could make anything, an amazing cook (macaroni and cheese and prime steak vegetarian meatballs, please!), an amazing mother-in-law and the best grandmother.

Priscilla's personality and quick wit were contagious to those close to her. She had the wonderful gift of being able to keep in touch with those she loved, including her friends since childhood and her daughters Carla and Leah, who will especially miss her daily calls.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband, SGM David Daniels.

She is survived by her children, Carla (Steve) Valles and David (Leah) Daniels; her grandchildren Stevie, Daniel, Justin, Lauryn, Tiana, Alena, Mia, and Erin; her twin sister Rachel (Wilbur) Lewis; her nephews, Wilbur II and Winston, and her niece, Felicia. She is also survived by countless “adopted” children, family, and friends who will miss her beyond measure.
