Renee Bennett-Bolden was the youngest daughter of Raymond Preston and Deborah Ikner - born on December 21, 1978 in Cleveland, Ohio.  After graduating from Cleveland Heights High (1997), Renee attended and graduated from The Ohio State University (2002).

Renee was a lifelong member of Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority Inc.  Logic crossed the Genesis line on May 15, 1999.  Renee loved her sisters of Gamma Sigma Sigma, the tight bond she formed with them helped her through her trials and tribulations.

Renee started league bowling at a young age.  She continued bowling in leagues most of her adult life.  Over the years, Renee has won several bowling trophies and a tournament, resulting in scholarship money.  She also loved to travel and was a “professional” cruiser. She loved arts and crafts, and could have run her own “Paint and Sip” facility.

Renee was an "absolutely phenomenal" and "amazingly strong" woman. She touched more lives than we will ever know.  Renee was the mother of two beautiful children, Tashara Monet and Leah Renee Bennett.  She enjoyed watching TV, playing card games, and completing puzzles with her children.  They also spent time cooking, completing art projects, and taking walks together.  Renee married Ryan Bolden in 2019.  They shared a love of travel, traveling to 7 countries together.  They also enjoyed, water sports, collecting travel memorabilia, discovering new wines, and entertaining.

In 2017 Renee was diagnosed with stage 4 Ovarian/Fallopian Tube cancer.  Seven months later, she was in remission.  However, by the beginning of 2019 the cancer had returned, and Renee resumed chemo treatments. With her family, sorority sisters, and friends by her side, Renee valiantly fought her disease.  Renee moved into the Kobacker House to receive 24-hour care from her mom and the staff.  On September 25th Renee was called home.
