Elder Rooservelt Fluellen, Jr., was a native of Columbus, Ohio, and Thursday, October 5,2023 at the age of 70, he gained his heavenly wings.
Roosevelt was born to the late Mr. Rooservelt Fluellen, Sr., and Madlyn Joan Fluellen. He was a true man of God, he lived for the right. He was a family man, who enjoyed traveling, and fishing.
Early in life, he became a father, and later in life, he met his soulmate, his queen and they became one. Roosevelt lived up to the name, Man, Man of God, Mentor, and his belt-lashing affection.
Roosevelt had compassion for the world, and never let anyone down. When he was up and came across your path, he changed your life. He was a great son, brother, husband, dad, and grandfather. He loved hard. He had two business and retired from Columbus public schools.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rooservelt Fluellen, Sr.; mother, Madlyn Joan Fluellen Russell; sister, Veloria Fluellen Cushenberry; and grandmother, Pearl Stinson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted wife of 35 years and his best friend, Thelma M.B. Fluellen; sons, Rodney B. Lakes and Jeffery B. Brihm; daughters, Janice Hargrow, Joyce E. Brihm,
Linda Fluellen, and Melissa Fluellen; brother, Damain Fluellen, Kevin (Norlean Evans) Fluellen, and Wayne Fluellen; sisters, Rosa Pearl Fluellen, Ida Mae Fluellen, and Pricella Fluellen; and a host of grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
