Sheldon “GOOCH” Levar Freeman passed away unexpectedly on June 23, 2023.
Sheldon was born the oldest of three on February 12, 1977. He had a deep passion for music. As a young adult he moved to Columbus, Ohio, to pursue his dreams. There, he established his own business, Definitive Musik, where he worked on producing and developing artists.
Sheldon leaves behind: mother, Susan D. Freeman; grandmother, Mary A. Henry; uncle, Roger E. Freeman (Myles A. Freeman); loving girlfriend of twelve years, Stephanie Myles; beloved children, Keswanna Carpenter, Marquan Fluellen, Sheldon Freeman ll, Keilan Freeman, and Ve’nice Freeman; sisters, D’Aundra E. Freeman and Kellie Boone; nieces and nephews, Parisienne A. Guy, Sire Rodgers, and Zoë Rodgers; grandchildren, Skaianna Burge, Ka’liyah Smith, Malachi Lewis, Markel A. Fluellen, and Evergreen Blessing E. Fluellen.
Sheldon will be remembered as a loving father, brother, spouse, and friend. His infectious smile and laugh will be in our hearts forever.
