Sir Charles “Chucky” D. White passed on June 20, 2020 at 29 years old. Chucky was born on August 16, 1991 at Samaritan Hospital in Detroit, Michigan to his parents, Sylvia
White and Charles Moody. He is survived by his son, Sir Charles White, Jr.; his mother, Sylvia White; his sisters, Maria White, Sylvina Nwagbo, Charmaine May and Dominique Tripp; his brothers, DeJuan White and Devon White; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Jorge; and his step father, Johnathan Crocker.
Chucky spent a significant portion of his childhood in foster care in Monroe, Michigan where he was blessed to meet his second family which included a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. This is a true testament that you do not have to be blood to be family.
Chucky was “A LOT” . . . humble, loving, caring, charismatic, intelligent, protective, competitive, and a family man to say the least. He loved his son dearly and wanted nothing more than to see his family thrive. If you knew Chucky, you know he could be stubborn and lazy! He liked things his way but he had good intentions with a pure heart and his love ran deep.
Chucky brought a positive energy into every room he entered. To know him was to love him. There will never be enough words or time in the day to adequately express who Chucky was or what he meant to those who knew and loved him. Chucky was a beautiful soul and will truly be missed.
