Stanley Lee Flemister "Stan The Man", age 72 passed away to be with the Lord on October 27, 2021. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 10, 1949 and son of the late James and Addie (Harris) Flemister.
Stanley is survived by four children (daughters), Mikia Watkins, Ashanti Flemister, Cierra Wade and Shaniya Watkins; four granddaughters, Ja'meice (Alan) Bennett, Jazmien Watkins, Nyilah Watkins and Na'jayah Holston; sister, Robie Rebecca Flemister; nieces, Shelly Flemister, Veronica Flemister, Erica Henry and Robin Henry; nephews, Kevin Flemister and Todd Henry. He was also survived by many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Henry and nephew, Kelly Henry.
Stanley was a military vet who served in the Vietnam War and retired from The City of Columbus, Sewers and Drains. Stanley was a member at Second Shiloh Baptist Church as an ordained deacon for many years then became a new member at New Birth Christian Ministries. He was known for his passion of music and loved to sing, dance and travel. Stanley was an active singer in his church choir. He was also famously known for his amazing jokes and would laugh hysterically at his own jokes before anyone else could laugh. Stanley was loved by so many people and touched many lives while here on earth. Heaven definitely gained a beautiful angel. He will be missed but never forgotten. We love you!
