“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18
With profound sorrow and hearts full of love, we celebrate the beautiful life of Tania McGee, who entered into eternal rest on July 1, 2026, at the age of 22. Although her time with us was far too brief, the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Born on October 1, 2003, Tania was a beautiful, intelligent, and gifted young woman whose radiant smile could brighten any room. She possessed a gentle spirit, a generous heart, and an infectious laugh that brought comfort and joy to everyone around her. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcomed, valued, and loved simply by being herself.
Tania was a proud graduate of Metro High School and continued her education at the Ohio State University of Newark. She had a special gift for connecting with individuals with disabilities of all kinds. Her patience, compassion, and understanding reflected her servant’s heart and her genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
She found joy in reading and loved expressing her creativity through hairstyling. Tania was also a talented song/creative writer, rapper, and a passionate sketcher. She had a beautiful way of turning her thoughts, emotions, and experiences into words that reflected her heart, strength, and imagination.
Tania loved attending family gatherings, especially those centered around food. She enjoyed trying new flavors, laughing with those she loved, and creating memories that will be treasured forever. Whether surrounded by family and friends or meeting someone for the first time, Tania’s warmth and kindness left a lasting impression.
Tania was preceded in death by her beloved great-grandmother, Carrie Bell McGee; great aunt, Kathryn Myers; and uncles, Johnny Jones and Joseph Suber.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory: her loving mother, Teresa McGee; devoted grandmother, Alice May McGee; uncle, Dennis McGee; aunts, Cynthia and Virginia McGee; sisters, Brianna and Tanajahnee McGee; brother, Samuel Warnsley; cherished nieces, Shamyra, Jayonna, Myliyah McGee, and Davughna Shaw; beloved nephews, Samuel Jr. and Seth Warnsley; great nephew, K’ayson McGee; special cousin, Wuan’ye Dickerson; along with extended family, dear friends, and all whose lives were forever touched by her love and beautiful spirit.
Though we mourn the loss of Tania’s physical presence, we rejoice in knowing that love never dies. Her beautiful smile, compassionate heart, creative spirit, and unwavering kindness will continue to inspire those who knew her. She taught us that a life does not have to be long to be meaningful, and that the greatest legacy we leave behind is the love we give to others.
Tania’s light will continue to shine through every life she touched. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
“Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.”
