On December 6, 2020, Tanya Caldwell’s wings were ready even though our hearts were not. Tanya was a loving person. She helped everybody and touched many hearts. There was never a dull moment when she entered the room.
She was born on August 15, 1967, in Brooklyn New York, to William and Jacqueline Caldwell. She preceded death by her mother, Jacqueline Caldwell; grandmother, Gertrude Thompson; great-aunt, Gail Thompson; Edward Cardwell; and Nafee Edgar.
Those surviving her are: her brother, William Caldwell; her sister-in-law, Dawn Caldwell; brother, Karren Caldwell; and sisters-in-love, Tammy Darby Angel Mendez, Pamela Smith, and Mazine Johnson- Anderson.
She leaves her memory with her loving children, Asia Perkins, Khalil Mikell, Crystal Caldwell, Sha’haida Caldwell, Shakarr Caldwell, and Tisha Caldwell; bonus kids, Shaniqua and Jamar Thompson, Lateshia and husband, Matth Ward, Roberta Brown and Chanie, and Meonnia Johnson.
She leaves behind a host of grandchildren, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and other relatives.
Everyone who knew Tanya Caldwell was blessed by her. She attended Greater Grace Apostolic Church in Columbus, Ohio, under the leadership of Bishop Margaret Barrett and Deacon Barrett.
