Taylin Roland

Taylin DaLan Roland was born on July 25, 1994, to Terrayvivya (Terri) D. Roland and Teka Uma Brown. She departed this life on Saturday, May 6, 2023. At the tender age of four years old, Taylin met and fell in love with the man that she would come to know and call her father, Stephon C. Pearson. Taylin attended Academy for Urban Scholars (AUS). Her passion was for serving others while working as a Supervisor at the YMCA Family Shelter and within her community.

Taylin was full of the love and light of God. A few of her greatest gifts were to share and showcase her lyrical talents through rap music, cooking, comedy, and her beautiful smile.

She leaves as her legacy and to cherish her memory: two beautiful daughters, Graylynn Dantorea Lisette Roland-Cabbell and Grayleis Dior Latina Roland; mother, Terrayvivya (Terri) Roland, and father, Stephon C. Pearson; siblings, Tayja, Tyez, Tayona, and Taymoni Pearson, and Jovonte Goffe (Tampa, FL), Takea Mack (Chicago, IL), Teka Jr., and Matthew Brown (Cleveland, OH); grandmothers, Sheila R. Warner-Roland and Jeanette Thomas (Orlando, FL); grandfathers, Robert Roland and Steven Pearson; aunts and uncles, Tremaine (Latisha) Roland, Travis Roland, Jobina Pearson, David Tucker, Charles (Lisa) Tucker, Richard (Tammie) Brown (Bethlehem, CA), Elizabeth Singleton (Altamonte Springs, FL), Tanya (Rufus) Sims (Fairburne, GA), and Bobby Brown (Cleveland, OH); nieces and nephews, Jahamyer Coleman, Sir Dayonn Bryant-Evans, and Tyann Roland; godbrother, Sunjay Harris; special cousins, Brianna Warner, Melody Crook, Christiana Warner, Carron Warner, and Brantley Warner; bonus sisters, Jasmine Barber, Cachet Hogan, and Kiera Coleman; and a host of other affectionately loved family and friends.

Taylin was preceded in death by her biological father, Teka Uma Brown, and aunt, Carmen L. Warner.
