Theresa Stanton

Our dear mother, Theresa Morgan Stanton, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2022. She was 88 years old.  The world will never be the same without her wisdom, nurturing spirit, guidance, holistic apothecary remedies, and enviable green thumb. She was a wonderful mother and cook who was always there when we needed her.  She dedicated her life as a mental health caregiver for 42 years and childcare provider for 19 years. During her early years, she was a seamstress and former choir member at Bethel Church of Christ in Cleveland, Ohio.  She was a military wife who was well-traveled. She also loved classic Western films.

Our mother, Theresa, was well-loved and adored by family and friends. Her loved ones will truly miss her but know her spirit has entered into the gates of Heaven to be with the Lord.
Theresa is survived by: her children, Otis, Valerie, Connie, and Larry; five grandchildren, Barbara, Rosalind, Bianca, Nastassja, and Terrence; and a number of great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Morgan; mother, Maggie Baskin; sisters, Thelma and Edith; and husband, Otis L. Stanton.
