SUNRISE:
Thyssen Thomas, affectionately known as “Sweetbaby”, was born February 20, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Benjamin and Hallie Thomas. A journey led the family to Columbus, Ohio in 1963 where Sweetbaby would blossom into the woman she became. She was preceded in death by her lifelong partner Raymond Myles.
Sweetbaby was a graduate of Mifflin High school in the mid 70’s and also studied courses in Arts and Design. A multi talented woman whose talents include cooking, sewing, home design and remedies, gardening and landscaping. She also enjoyed quiet times watching her favorite television shows and reading thriller mysteries and suspense novels.
Sweetbaby devoted her time to providing and teaching her only son Stephen, the ways of the world, the best way she knew.
SUNSET:
Thyssen suffered a heart attack on September 19, 2020. She was prepared to fight this long and hard battle until January 27, 2021, when Sweetbaby was summoned by the Lord to her eternal resting place.
THOSE WHO REMAIN:
Thyssen leaves cherished memories behind to her only son Stephen Andrew Benjamin Thomas. Brothers: Donald Thomas, William Jeter, Galin Thomas (Toye), and an embraced brother, DeLane Murrell. Sisters: Sandra Jeter, Gwen Wilson, Cornelyn Hall, Wilda Thomas and Sonja Thomas (Jonathan Todd). Nephews: Antonio Hunter, William Hall, Cy Jeter, and Benjamin Thomas. Nieces: Chaletha Hall, Kamisha Thomas and Tatum Thomas, and a host of great- nieces, and great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Sweetbaby will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered.
