Timothy Carthen Allen was born on September 28, 1966, to William Napoleon and Pearl Allen. Timothy was the second born of three.
He is survived by his mother, Pearl, his sister, Anjienette, and his brother, Stephen.
BIG TIM, as he was known by his friends, co-workers and family, was raised by his mother,
Pearl on the Hilltop westside of Columbus. Tim attended Highland Elm, Hilltonia Junior High School, and East High School, where he played center on the football team. After leaving East, Tim went to Job Care to learn Culinary Arts for a short stent. He returned to Columbus to start his lifelong career in night club security at Papa Jacks, Point 3, Alexanders, Headliners, and the Neon. Timmy started touring with the group 69 Boyz managed by his brother Stephen. Tim did concert touring and personal protection service for a short time with groups X-Clan, 69 Boyz, 95 South, 24K, and many others. Timmy worked with his brother Stephen during these years, after his time touring ended, he returned to Columbus to return to work for longtime employer, mentor, and personal friend, Mr. Bob Packy. Tim and Bob’s working relationship and loyal friendship started over thirty years ago and ended on Tuesday, April 4. Tim worked at the In and Out on the OSU campus until he passed. Outside work, Tim was extremely intelligent and had a talent for spelling big words. Timmy was also a very funny and silly person. He nicknamed everyone he became lifelong friends with; if Timmy nicknamed you, it stuck, and we still call you by that name from time to time! Timmy was also a fierce warrior, and if he loved you and you were a friend or family member, he would protect you with his very own life, so if he nicknamed you or he considered you a friend, you will admit Timmy lived his purpose and it was a job well done!
He leaves to cherish his memories: nieces and nephews, Nailah and NiAzia Allen, Cheyenne Allen, Brandi Allen, Michael Stevens, Shia-Lanaih Allen and Brandon Allen.
