Trequan Jones

Trequan Jones, a beloved son, family member, and friend, was born on December 4, 1998, in Columbus to Benjamin Newsome and Monique Jones. He departed this life March 22, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.  Trequan was known for his warm spirit, genuine smile, and the deep love he carried for his family. To him, family was everything, they were his foundation, his source of strength, and the pride and joy of his life. Whether gathered for celebrations or simply spending quiet moments together, Trequan valued every opportunity to be surrounded by those he loved most. He possessed a kind heart and a presence that brought comfort and encouragement to others. His ability to connect with people and make them feel seen and appreciated was a gift that left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. Trequan’s life, though brief, was filled with meaning, love, and purpose. He will be remembered for his devotion to family, his resilience, and the light he brought into every room.

He was preceded in death by Granmother, TerryLynn Buckner and Emma Love, Aunt Senequea Nicole Bickner and Grandpa Jonny Buckner.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Benjamin Newsome and Monique Jones; children, Tru and Amori, siblings: Ishi Stidoms, Shantel (Isaiah) Price, Benjamin (Davonte) Bradford, Brandi Waiters, Aaron Ferguson, Devonte Newsome, Dazhane Jones, Iyonna Jones along with a Nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins and Friends. Though he is no longer with us in the physical sense, Trequan’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. His memory will forever be a blessing.
