Obituary

Trey ReShard Long was born February 25, 1987 to Terry E. Long Sr. and Anita R. Stokes in Columbus, Ohio being the third child of this union. He ended his earthly journey on July 20, 2020.  While at home, God called Trey to receive his Heavenly wings.  Trey accepted Christ in his life at the age of seven and a half years old.

As a young boy, Trey enjoyed football and he played football from Pee-Wee through High School. He attended Innis Elementary School and went to Delaware Hayes High School where he played on the Varsity Football Team. His nickname was “Trey the Train” because of size and the ability to run people over.

Trey loved to make people laugh and had a great sense of humor and it often would make himself laugh.  When being greeted by him he always had a hug and a smile and often something funny to say.  Trey was a caring loving person who never met a stranger.  He felt everybody was his friend. He loved his family dearly and was ALWAYS there when needed. He loved hanging out with family and friends, eating good food, listening to music, dancing and indulging in rap battles.

Trey leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother, Anita R. Stokes (Brett Hairston) and father, Terry E. (Michelle) Long Sr.; two brothers, Terry E. (Samar) Long Jr. and Andrew Long; two sisters, TeAira Long and Tara Long; two nephews, Gabriel Long and Noah Corretti; two nieces, Aaliyah and Alonna Long; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
