Twyla Hairston

Twyla Omega Hairston was born on March 16, 1964, in Columbus and departed this life on May 6, 2026, at the age of 62.

Twyla was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth and joyful spirit touched everyone she met. She loved dancing, listening to Prince, and bringing happiness and laughter to those around her. Her smile, kindness, and loving heart will be deeply missed, and she will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Jean Johnson; father, Nathan Napier; children’s father, Linsey Robinson; and brother, Conrad Hairston.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her daughter, Tinisia Robinson; sons, Nathan Hairston, Linsey Hairston, and Michael Mosley, Jr.; children’s father, Michael Mosley, Sr.; two sisters and one brother; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, close friends, and other relatives.

Twyla’s love and light will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered always.
