Valerie Carmichael

Ms. Valerie Carmichael, daughter of the late Sarah Fogle, was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, on December 18, 1966, and entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 19, 2025. Valerie graduated from Orangeburg Wilkinson High School in 1986. She later moved to Columbus, Ohio, where she lived throughout her life.

She enjoyed outings, cooking, and cleaning. Because we all know Valerie didn’t play about no messiness. She enjoyed caring and working with kids at Heaven Sent Children’s Academy, where she truly dedicated herself by never being late or missing a day of work, besides Monday, LOL (if you know you know).

Valerie’s two children, Shaquanna and Saige, are left to cherish her fond memories along with her two grandchildren, Aalaysia and Kali of Columbus, OH. She also leaves: one brother, Lawrence Carmichael of Bowie, MD; one niece, Shantel Carmichael of Seattle, WA; one nephew, Jourdan Carmichael of Bowie, MD; an aunt and an uncle; and a host of other friends and cousins.
