Wayne Anthony Brown, “Stoney,” was born in Columbus, Ohio.
Wayne received his GED but always had a very high IQ.
Wayne didn’t gain a nickname until he was an adult. His elder sister, Patricia, called him “Stoney” because of his cool walk and laid-back disposition, and others called him Uncle. Wayne had a son named Anthony that died at birth, so years later when his daughter Lisa was born, he was so excited and he absolutely adored her. Wayne was very close to his family, especially his sisters, Patricia and Theresa, whom he talked to just about everyday.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Brown; father, Harry Strain; brother, Kelvin Brown; and son, Anthony Brown.
Wayne leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Lisa Marie Brown; granddaughter, Noel Marie Nicole Scott; sisters, Patricia (Leon) Marteina and Theresa (Roderick) Harper; special friends, Larry, Kevin Duly, Kebi Adams, Beanie and Craig Williams and Roger Fountain; special cousin, Charmelle and Yogi; nieces, Tina (Mark) Steele, Naja and Lil Naja, Lanitra, Ashley, Theresa, Shawntalyri, Cevyn, and Dominique; nephews, Antaine, Delaine, Rinnie, DeMarko; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Loyal he was... if you needed him for anything he was there, he’ll definitely be missed.
