Wilbert Booker

Wilbert "Tad" Booker was born on May 7, 1945, in Garter, West Virginia, to the late Zach and Ethel Fletcher Booker.

Tad was truly one of a kind. He was known for his unmatched work ethic, his confidence, and his larger-than-life personality. If you knew Tad, you knew he believed there wasn't much he
couldn't do—and he would gladly remind you that he was the "master of everything." His sense of humor and self-assured spirit brought laughter and unforgettable memories to those who
loved him.

For more than 30 years, Tad proudly worked as a member of Laborers' Union Local 423, serving Columbus, Ohio, and the surrounding communities. After retiring from the union, his
entrepreneurial spirit led him to become an owner-operator truck driver, where he built a respected reputation throughout the transportation industry through his hard work, reliability, and
dedication.

When he wasn't working, Tad could almost always be found on the golf course. Golf was one of his greatest passions, and he enjoyed every opportunity to spend time perfecting his game,
sharing stories, and enjoying the camaraderie of family and friends.

Tad was united in marriage to Janet Booker. He leaves to cherish his memory six children: Lamon Pace, Tara Allen, Nathan Wiggins (preceded him in death), Felicia Wynn, Charles Allen,
and Stacey Mann. He was the proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren, all of whom brought him great joy.

He is survived by his brother, Clarence Booker, and his sister, Bonita Booker Lee. In addition to his parents, Zach and Ethel Fletcher Booker, Tad was preceded in death by his
sons, Nathan Wiggins; his brothers, Harold Booker, Leonard Booker, Leroy Booker, Matthew Booker, Robert Booker, Gerald Booker, and Lamon Booker; and his sister, Dorothy Booker
Duberry.

Wilbert "Tad" Booker also leaves behind a host of beloved nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. Though his earthly journey has come to an end, Tad's legacy of hard work, determination, laughter, and love for his family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved
him.
