William Beaty, Jr.

William Earl Beaty, Jr., went to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of March 19, 2022.

William was born a twin on March 15, 1954, in Riley, Mississippi, to parents Mary E. Bynum and William E. Beatty, Sr. His twin died soon after birth.

He moved with family to Columbus, Ohio, where he attended South High School; loving basketball and auto shop. He also gleamed in his artistic ability of drawing. He enjoyed the calmer side of life, which included fishing, outdoor grilling, gardening, playing cards, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
William a.k.a. “Uncle Will” was a pillar of the southeast community. Well loved by many, he would always lend a helping hand, fix a car, or give an ear to hear.

William leaves to cherish his memory: sister, Martha L. Beaty; daughter, Kristina M. Wilson; sons, Robert Spencer, Jachin J. Spencer, and William E. "Trey" (Gwyn) Beatty III; son-in-law, Keith Martin; as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary E. Bynum; father, William E. Beaty, Sr.; a twin brother who passed at birth; his brother, Daniel N. Beatty; daughter, Teirsa D. Martin; grandchildren, Denecqua K. Taylor and Anthony Wilson; and niece, Danielle Beatty.

He will be missed by all those who had the privilege and honor of knowing him.
