William C Ruffin IV, age 30 passed away on April 25, 2020 at home surrounded by family, after a long courageous battle against a rare cancer.
William is the eldest son to Sherry Adepitan (Abayomi) of Columbus and William C. Ruffin III (Teresa) of Findley, Ohio. Besides his parents, William leaves behind a daughter, Serenity Ruffin; two brothers Joshua Pryor and Jordan Pryor; maternal grandmother Mildred Redman.
William was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Elizabeth and William Ruffin Jr. and maternal grandfather, M. Redman.
William lived in Reynoldsburg most of his life and was a Graduate of Reynoldsburg High School and a Graduate of Eastland Career Center (2008). He worked as a Supervisor for a National Moving Company.
He was an amazing, loving and thoughtful son and grandson. Two roles most dear to William was being a father to his beloved 7 year old daughter and a big brother to his two younger brothers. He loved his aunts and uncles, was the best cousin and a true friend to his friends – ready and willing to help at a moment’s notice. A special thanks to two of his special aunts, Billie Graves and Kathy Williams.
William’s family extends their heartfelt thanks to the health-care professionals at The OSU James Cancer Hospital and to Capital City Hospice for their care and commitment. They also, give special thanks to all that extended their help and prayers during this time.
